How to calculate your life path number
Add every digit of your full birth date, then keep reducing until you reach a single digit — unless you land on 11, 22 or 33, the master numbers, which you never reduce further.
- Write out your birth date, e.g. 14 / 07 / 1990.
- Reduce each part: day 14 → 1+4 = 5; month 07 → 7; year 1990 → 1+9+9+0 = 19 → 1+9 = 10 → 1+0 = 1.
- Add the results: 5 + 7 + 1 = 13 → 1+3 = 4.
- So this birth date is Life Path 4. (If a total lands on 11, 22 or 33 at any stage, stop — you have a master number.)
Tip: reduce the day, month and year separately first, then add — it's the method that most reliably preserves master numbers.
